Download Trimble Connect Add-on
The Trimble Connect add-on allows you to open models directly from Trimble Connect and to upload new revisions to models in Trimble Connect. This add-on supports the following scenarios:
- Get model from Trimble Connect and upload a new model file to Trimble Connect
- Import a model from a local file and upload a new model file to Trimble Connect
- Get model from Trimble Connect and save it as a local file

Getting models from Trimble Connect
When you install the Trimble Connect add-on a new ‘Trimble Connect’ item will appear in the Open -menu of the Simplebim start-up screen. Clicking on this item will open the Trimble Connect login dialog and subsequently a dialog for selecting the region, project and file. Once you select the file and import the model, Simplebim will work just like if you had imported a local file.
Pushing models to Trimble Connect
When you install the Trimble Connect add-on a new ‘Trimble Connect’ item will appear in ribbon menu next to the IFC Export -button. If you have multiple connectors installed, then you can find the Trimble Connect functionality under the generic Upload -button. Either way, clicking on the Trimble Connect -item will open the Trimble Connect login dialog and subsequently a dialog for selecting the region, project and folder. Finally you give the name for the new file and upload the model as the new file into Trimble Connect.
