Edit GUIDs: Repair Duplicate and Invalid GUIDs
This tool creates new Globally Unique IDs (GUID) for all objects that have either have a GUID that is already used by another object in the same model or has a GUID with a invalid format. The resulting GUIDs are also unique when compared with a case insensitive comparison.
This tool is useful if your model contains objects with duplicate or invalid GUIDs. It can also be used if the target system for the IFC exchange treats GUIDs as case insensitive. In such cases the original IFC model is fully valid, but will still not work in the target system.
