Proximity’ and ‘Calculate Properties for Connected Objects’ tools in Simplebim 10.1.
‘Proximity’ tool is s incredibly cool—it connects objects based on their geometric proximity, or in other words, how close they are to each other.
Once connections are made, you can use the ‘Calculate Properties for Connected Objects’ tool to derive and copy data from one object to another. This opens up new possibilities for enriching model data and enhances collaboration between different disciplines.
Please note that the Proximity tool is currently in the beta phase. We invite you to give it a try and share your feedback with us. We’ve considered numerous use cases, but this powerful concept surely has even more potential.
